We've been keenly examining how climate change is impacting the outdoors sector - a macro level risk that threatens not only operators but the existence of certain sectors. This image is striking: we surveyed outdoor operators and 'extreme heat' was of primary concern. While that is obvious for summers, it is happening in winter too, and fast. In the past 10 years, Toronto, for example, has 13 fewer below freezing days than in the past.
